I'm a seasoned veteran of the Internet. I got seriously into it when being online meant a blinking yellow cursor against a black screen and the need to learn code do anything worthwhile. It meant connecting with people around the world using IRC/Internet Relay Chat. I remember spending 16 to 18 hour days online and even building my own cutting edge 486 machine.

Since then I've run the first global campaign for a multinational corporation back in 2001, which was a huge success with over a million unique visitors per week --- at the time an enormous accomplishment, as it would be now.

Now I very quietly do my own projects and cherry-pick the businesses I want to work with. Usually they're small, but led by passionate people in an industry that interests me because I think it's cool or because it's so competitive I want to help them dominate it. It gives me a sense of pleasure to help the underdog win.
